ABOUT

Hey there, I’m Liz

My pronouns are she/her. I am an AASECT certified sexuality educator who works with individuals and couples improve their sexual and intimate relationships. I believe a person’s sexuality is a significant piece of their whole self. My goal is to help you fully embrace your sexuality, nurture it with intention, and allow it (and you) to flourish.

MY STORY

I was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN, and attended Indiana University to study biology and psychology. Although I intended to become a heart surgeon, I was hooked by a Sexuality 101 course that ultimately changed my career path. I felt called to this field, as it perfectly combines my interests in human sciences and my empathetic nature. Plus, I often like the challenge of taking the road less traveled. Interning with pioneers in sexuality research at the Center for Sexual Health Promotion and the world-renowned Kinsey Institute solidified my decision to dive into this oft-taboo profession. I earned my Master of Education in Human Sexuality Studies from Widener University in 2016 before moving to Charlotte, NC, which I now call home.

As a sexuality educator, I teach accurate, comprehensive information that supports healthier sexual growth and more satisfying sexual exploration. Whether I am coaching a couple on their intimate connection, running focus groups on healthy sexuality, or presenting original workshops on pleasure, my goal is for you to gain a deeper understanding of your sexuality as an appreciated part of your overall well-being. My work is free of judgment and assumptions; every person has a different lived experience. I listen with an open heart and mind, meet you where you are in your journey, and help carve a smooth path to your success. I continue to expand my curiosity, knowledge, and skills  about sexology. I am passionate and dedicated to my professional development, and am constantly inspired by my incredible colleagues and clients.

When I’m not working, I’m having spontaneous dance parties with my toddler, sipping craft beer in the sunshine with my husband, and overwatering my plants.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Expert knowledge on sexuality, specifically in terms of: pleasure, orgasms, intimacy, relationships, anatomy/physiology, communication, sexual function, & intimate products (and more)

  • You can trust me. I welcome you without judgment. Beginning with our first point of contact, everything you say to me is kept confidential. I cannot count how many times someone has said to me, “wow, I’ve never told anyone that.” You can confide in me with trust and assurance.

  • I’m easy to talk to. Learning about sex from me is vastly different than learning from your middle school health teacher. I love discussing sexuality, and my contagious comfort with it will encourage you to open up to learn and grow. I do everything I can to help you feel less anxious when approaching this oft-taboo topic.
